WAUSAU, WI (WSAU) — Skogen’s Festival Foods has finalized plans for the takeover of three Trig’s locations in the Wausau and Stevens Point areas.
The Stevens Point store will officially rebrand as Festival Foods on Friday, December 3rd, while locations in Wausau and Weston will flip the switch one week later on Friday, December 10th.
Those three locations were purchased from the T.A. Solberg Company back in October as part of a restructuring effort. With the new additions, Festival will now operate nearly 40 supermarkets across Wisconsin.

The sale of its three southern-most stores will help the T.A. Solberg Company focus on its Northwoods footprint. In addition to Trig’s supermarkets, the company also runs some Ace Hardware and Caribou Coffee shops along with Trig’s Smokehouse meats.
