SOUTH BEND, IN (WSAU) — The #15 Notre Dame men’s hockey team scored a 3-0 win over Wisconsin to complete a weekend sweep of the Badgers on Saturday.
Notre Dame set the tone early with a power play goal midway through the first period. They added a second as the period expired, and the third came in the closing minute of the second.
Nine different players recorded a point in the game for the Irish.
Cameron Rowe made 22 saves for the Badgers, taking the loss in net.
With the loss, Wisconsin falls to 5-8-1 on the season and 3-4-1 in B1G play (8 points). They head to East Lansing, Michigan next weekend for two against Michigan State, the Spartans currently sit one spot below the 5th-place Badgers in the conference standings.
