MADISON, WI (WSAU) — The Wisconsin mens basketball team were without Johnny Davis and dropped 63-58 game with Providence on Monday night at the Kohl Center.
Davis, who was averaging 15 points a game was out with a lower body injury.
Wisconsin shot just 26% in the first half and fell behind by 11. They were just 5-37 from three point range.
The Badgers were led by Brad Davison with 25. Tyler Wahl added 16. Those two were 14-29 with their teammates going 6-32 on the night.
Both Steven Crowl and Chris Vogt were in early foul trouble and that allowed Providence big man Nate Watson have a big game. He had 24 points.
Wisconsin, now 2-1, will be back in action against Texas A&M next Monday.
