Milwaukee Brewers
MILWAUKEE, WI (WSAU) — For the third time in the last four years Milwaukee Brewers manager Craig Counsell finished 2nd in the National League Manager of The Year voting.
Gabe Kapler of the San Francisco Giants won the honor getting 28 of 30 first place votes. Mike Shildt of St. Louis was third.
Balloting was done after the conclusion of the regular season.
Counsell and Kapler were teammates on the 2008 Milwaukee Brewers.
