MILWAUKEE, WI (WSAU) — The Milwaukee Bucks got a basket with less than five seconds to play on a Giannis drive to the hoop and rallied to beat the Charlotte Hornets 127-125 on Wednesday night at Fiserv Forum. Miles Bridges shot at the buzzer rimmed out for Charlotte.
The Hornets had tied the game with six second left on a three-pointer from LaMelo Ball. He had 36 points and nine assists.
The Hornets hit 10 of 17 three pointers in the first quarter and the Bucks first lead didn’t come until the 3rd quarter at 91-90.
Giannis had 40 points, 12 rebounds and nine assists in another fantastic effort fro Milwaukee. Khris Middleton had 21 and Grayson Allen added 16. Also in double figures…Jrue Holiday, George Hill and Pat Connaughton all with 11 and Bobby Portis added 10.
DeMarcus Cousins made his Bucks debut playing 16 minutes with 7 points and four rebounds.
The Bucks have won eight straight and are now 14-8. They are right back in action tonight at Toronto.
