MILWAUKEE, WI (WSAU) — Giannis Antetokounmpo led all scorers with 35 points while also posting 16 rebounds and 10 assists in a 136-113 Bucks win over the New Orleans Pelicans Saturday at Fiserv Forum.
Jordan Nwora scored 23 points off the bench, Jrue Holiday chipped in 21, and Grayson Allen added 16 for Milwaukee in what would be coach Mike Budenholzer’s 400th career victory (187 of those coming with Milwaukee.)
Nwora’s night included hitting five of seven from three-point land. As a team, the Bucks shot nearly 50% (23-48) from beyond the arc and 53% from the field overall.
Jaxson Hayes led the Pels in scoring with 23 off the bench.
The game marked Antetokounmpo’s 27th career triple-double.
The Bucks return to action Monday hosting the Detroit Pistons. New Orleans will return to the big easy to host the Jazz that same day.
