MILWAUKEE, WI (WSAU) — The Marquette mens basketball team bounced back from their double-overtime loss on Saturday and overwhelmed 16th ranked Providence 88-56 on Tuesday night at Fiserv Forum.
The Golden Eagles had lost five of their last six and three in a row. They used a 20-0 run late in the first half to blow the game open.
Marquette was led by Justin Lewis who 23 points and 11 rebounds. Oso Ighodaro had 16 and Kam Jones added 14.
The Golden Eagles, now 9-6, 1-3 in Big East, will travel to Georgetown on Friday.
