TOWN OF SCOTT, WI (WSAU) — No people or animals were injured in a fire at the Blue Haven Stables in the Lincoln County Town of Scott Thursday night.
According to Merrill Fire Chief Josh Klug, they received word of a fire in one of the outbuildings used as an apartment. The building was empty at the time of the fire, and crews were able to keep it from spreading to other structures at the complex.
Klug says his crew along with crews from Pine River, Corning, and Russell all responded to the scene. Officials from WPS, the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office, and Tomahawk EMS also responded.
The fire is not considered suspicious. Crews are still investigating the cause.
