TOWN OF SCOTT, WI (WSAU) — A traffic accident on County Road K in the Lincoln County Town of Scott led to the arrest of a 45-year-old Weston man on numerous outstanding warrants.
Sheriff’s officers were called to the crash site Monday afternoon to find that the driver had left the scene. Officers located him a short time later to find that he had at least five outstanding arrest warrants.
He’s also charged with possession of meth, drug paraphernalia, being a felon in possession of a firearm, and obstructing an officer with the crash.
The man’s name was not released. It’s unclear what caused the accident.
