UNIVERSITY PARK, PA (WSAU) — The Wisconsin mens hockey team dropped a 4-1 decision Friday night at Penn State.
The Nittany Lions built a 4-0 lead after two periods. Wisconsin’s lone goal came from Carson Ceulemans on the power play at 5:13 of the 3rd period.
Jared Moe had 26 saves and Cameron Rowe had 17 for Wisconsin.
The Badgers, now 8-13-3, 5-9-1 in Big Ten, will play Penn State again today at 5pm.
The #1 ranked Wisconsin womens hockey team suffered a 2-1 loss Friday at Minnesota.
Daryl Watts had the lone Badger goal, the 275th of her career.
The two teams play again today at 4pm at Ridder Arena.
