GREEN BAY, Wi (WSAU) –The NFL Network and ESPN are reporting that Green Bay Packer offensive coordinator Nathaniel Hackett will be the next head coach of the Denver Broncos.
It will be Hackett’s first head coaching job and he becomes the fourth Bronco head coach since 2016.
Hackett had worked as an offensive coordinator for Jacksonville and Buffalo before his gig in Green Bay.
It’s unknown how Hackett’s hiring will affect the decision of Aaron Rodgers on whether to return to Green Bay, seek a trade or retire. Rodgers has praised Hackett’s performance in Green Bay.
