MADISON, WI (WSAU) — A double-double from Johnny Davis helped Wisconsin to a 66-60 win over Minnesota in Big Ten basketball action on Sunday.
Davis led the way with 15 points and recorded a career-best 16 rebounds. He also scored the game’s final six points to break a 60-60 deadlock with about two minutes remaining.
Tyler Wahl added 15 points. Brad Davison scored 14.
Wisconsin improves to 17-3 and 8-2 in Big Ten play, maintaining a tie for first with Illinois. They’ll return to the court on Wednesday against the Illini in Champaign-Urbana. Pregame coverage on WSAU begins at 7, with the tip-off at 8 PM.
