GREEN BAY, WI (WSAU) — The assistant coaching shakeup continues for the Green Bay Packers over the weekend.
After Nathanial Hackett had left to become head coach of the Denver Broncos last week, it was announced on Sunday that quarterbacks coach Luke Getsy would be leaving to become offensive coordinator for the Chicago Bears.
It didn’t take long for Matt LaFleur to promote from within. Marshfield native Adam Stenavich named the offensive coordinator for the Packers after Hackett had expresses interest in bringing him to Denver.
Getsy will call the plays in Chicago and be in charge of the entire offense.
The Packers will likely promote Luke Butkus to offensive line coach but will still be in the market for a quarterbacks coach going forward.
