Poncho (Lincoln County Sheriff's Department)
MERRILL, WI (WSAU-WAOW) – One of the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office police dogs is going in for emergency surgery.
The sheriff’s office says that K9 Poncho is going in for the surgery due to a mass that was located on his spleen.
They’re asking for people to keep the K9 deputy, his handler, and the sheriff’s office in your thoughts and prayers.
It’s unclear when the procedure will take place, or what the dog’s log-term outlook is.
