PROVIDENCE, RI (WSAU) — The Marquette mens basketball team saw their seven game winning streak come to an end with a 65-63 loss at Providence.
The Golden Eagles led for much of the game but a three point play from Nate Watson gave the Friars the lead with 43 seconds left. The golen Eagles had a chance at the end but missed a shot as time ran out.
Marquette was led by Daryll Morsell with 14 points. Justin Lewis and Tyler Kolek added 13 each .
The Golden Eagles, now 15-7, 7-4 in Big East, will host Villanova on Wednesday.
