Wisconsin Badgers
CHAMPAIGN, Ill (WSAU) — The Wisconsin mens basketball team dropped an 80-67 matchup Wednesday night at Illinois.
The Badgers had no answer for Kofi Cockburn who had 37 points and 12 rebounds. He was 16-19 from the field.
Johnny Davis led Wisconsin with 22 points and 15 rebounds but eleven of his points came from the free throw line. He was just 5-19 from the field
Tyler Wahl was the only other Badger in double figures with 14. The Badgers were just 3-24 from three point range in the game.
Wisconsin, now 17-4, 8-3 in Big Ten, host Penn State on Saturday.
