PORTLAND, OR (WSAU) — Bobby Portis led all scorers with 30 points while Giannis Antetokounmpo added 29 as Milwaukee topped Portland 137-108 on Saturday in the first game of a west coast swing.
Khris Middleton chipped in 14 points and seven assists in the win. Donte DiVincenzo scored 10. Jrue Holiday added nine points and seven assists.
Anfernee Simmons and Ben McLemore each scored 19 to lead the Blazers in the loss.
Milwaukee shot 53% from the field including 46% from three-point range.
With the win, Milwaukee moves to 33-21, one game out of first place in the East. The Bucks continue their west-coast swing later today against the LA Clippers at Crypto.com Arena. They’ll then stay in LA while the crew at the arena switches out the logos for a Tuesday evening date with the Lakers.
