EAST LANSING, MICH (WSAU) — For the first time since 1963 the Wisconsin mens basketball team has beaten both Purdue and Michigan State on the road. They topped the Spartans 70-62 on Tuesday night at the Breslin Center.
The Badgers never trailed in the game and moved into a first place tie in the Big Ten with Illinois and Purdue.
Johnny Davis bounced back from a couple of poor scoring games with 25 points but the Badgers got contributions from lots of different guys.
Tyler Wahl and Chucky Hepburn had 11 each, Brad Davison had eight and Steven Crowl had six.
Wisconsin, now 19-4, 10-3 in Big Ten, will host Rutgers on Saturday.
