PLOVER, WI (WSAU-WAOW) — The Portage County Sheriff’s Office is looking for three guns that were stolen from a storage unit last week.
Officers were called to a unit at Plover Self Store on February 3rd, where they found that the lock had been cut. According to the owner, the only items missing were the guns.
Sheriff Mike Lucas says those models were as follows:
-Tika .30-06 bolt action rifle w/scope; wood stock and 26″ barrel
-.22 KR semi-auto rifle; wood stock
-12 gauge single shot shotgun; wood stock
Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call the Portage County Sheriff’s Office or Crimestoppers at 1-888-346-6600. Tips can also be submitted through the P3 app for smartphones and tablets.
