Road Rage Incident Captured Near Rothschild

ROTHSCHILD, WI (WSAU) — The Rothschild Police Department is asking anyone with information about a road-rage incident to come forward.

Cell phone video of the situation shows two vehicles colliding along Highway 29. According to Nathan Zawislan, the man who captured the footage, the incident started near the Volkman Street overpass. Both cars collided a few times, then one vehicle took the Business 51 exit into Rothschild while the other continued eastbound on Highway 29.

Anyone who recognizes one of the vehicles involved or may have further information is asked to call the Rothschild Police Department at 715-359-3879.

Police do not believe any other vehicles were involved in the incident.

Additionally, the Wausau Police Department is reminding tipsters that the incident did not occur in Wausau, meaning all tips should be routed to the Rothschild PD.
