STEVENS POINT, WI (WSAU) — The 10th ranked UWSP mens hockey team beat UW-Superior 2-1 in overtime Wednesday night at KB Willet Arena.
Conor Witherspoon got the game winner 1:58 into the extra session. Jordan Fader had the other Pointer goal in the first period. Eli Billing had 19 saves.
The Pointers, now 16-5-1, will play at Northland College Friday and Saturday.
The UWSP mens basketball team fell to UW-Oshkosh 79-58 on Wednesday night at Quandt Fieldhouse.
Garrett Nelson led the Pointers with 12 and Jake Buchanan had 11.
The Pointers, now 3-14, will play Saturday at UW-Eau Claire.
The UWSP womens basketball team dropped a 65-55 game at UW-Oshkosh on Wednesday night.
Taylor Greenheck had 10 points. Jessica Slowik added nine.
The Pointers, now 10-9, will host UW-Eau Claire on Saturday at 3pm.
