MILWAUKEE, WI (WSAU) — Major League Baseball’s owners and players remain at a standstill in negotiating a new Collective Bargaining Agreement, but that’s not stopping the Brewers from scheduling their 2022 Arctic Tailgate.
Fans will be able to camp out Friday, February 25th starting at 6 PM in the Brewers 2 Lot American Family Field parking lot where the team will provide musical entertainment, tailgate games, and food. The first 200 people at the tailgate will also receive a commemorative t-shirt.
More live music is scheduled for Saturday at 7 AM along with breakfast and coffee provided by the Brewers. Single-game tickets for all scheduled 2022 home games go on sale two hours later at 9 AM.
Those in attendance will also have a chance to purchase up to 4 tickets for opening day, which is currently scheduled for March 31st against Arizona.
Fans should note that the Brewers will not allow overnight camping in the American Family Field parking lots if the air temperature for the evening of 2/25 is below 10 degrees.
It’s the first Arctic Tailgate in two years, with the 2020 and ’21 events called off due to COVID-19.
