STEVENS POINT, WI (WSAU) — An unidentified Stevens Point man is dead after a one-vehicle crash.
First responders were called to the area of Country Club Drive and Kirschling Court at 11:45 Sunday for a vehicle that had collided with several trees and a light pole.
The driver, a 30-year-old man, was dead at the scene. A 45-year-old female passenger was taken to the hospital for injuries but is expected to recover.
Officials add the vehicle suffered significant damage. The incident remains under investigation.
