MILWAUKEE, WI (WSAU) — The Milwaukee Bucks got Giannis back in the lineup on Tuesday night and beat the Indiana Pacers 128-119 at Fiserv Forum.
Giannis, back in the lineup after missing Monday’s loss with a sore ankle, went off for 50 points on just 21 shots in the victory. He was 17-21 from the field and 14-18 from the free throw line. He added 14 rebounds, and four assists.
The Bucks shot 60.9% from the field and 50% from 3-pt range.
Khris Middleton had 19, Jrue Holiday 14 and Lindell Wigginton added 12 off the bench. Bobby Portis had 14 rebounds to go along with six points.
The Pacers featured some Wisconsin ties in the game. Newly acquired Oshkosh native Tyrese Haliburton had 17 points, four rebounds and eight assists while UW-Green Bay alum Kiefer Sykes had 10 points and five assists off the bench. Former Buck Malcolm Brogdon sat out with an injury.
The Bucks, now 36-23, will host Philadelphia on Thursday.
