James Farrar
WAUSAU, WI (WSAU) — The man found guilty of setting a fire that destroyed a west side home will spend 8 years in prison and 12 years on extended supervision.
James Justin Mack Farrar was sentenced earlier this week for the fire on March 1st of 2021 at the home which he was renting. He called 911 after setting two fires in the house. The home was a total loss.
The sentence carries a repeater enhancer to make it tougher. The 30-year-old has a long criminal record and the repeater clause can be added if another felony was committed within five years.
If Farrar violates supervision after he gets out of prison, he would have to serve an additional 12 years.
