HATLEY, WI (WSAU-WAOW) — A truck driver died in a crash along Highway 29 in Marathon County Thursday morning.
WAOW TV reports the crash occurred at around 2:30 when the truck driver lost control and struck a guard rail under the overpass at County Road Y.
Officers said the 23-year-old driver died at the scene. The man’s name has not been released, but officers added that he was the only person in the vehicle when it crashed.
The incident backed up traffic for about two hours this morning.
