GREEN BAY, WI (WSAU) — The Green Bay Packers placed a second-round tender offer on free agent wide receiver Allen Lazard on Tuesday.
What that means is that if Lazard would sign with another team before April 22nd the Packers would get a second round draft pick as compensation.
The offer comes with a $3.986 million salary for this season and Lazard would become an unrestricted free agent in 2023. Lazard had 40 catches with eight touchdowns, five of those coming in the final five regular season games.
Meanwhile, a couple of other Packer free agents are moving on. Linebacker Oren Burks signed with San Francisco and offensive lineman Lucas Patrick inked a deal with Chicago.
