Marquette Golden Eagles
FORT WORTH, TX (WSAU) — The Marquette mens basketball team got hammered by North Carolina 95-63 in the first round of the NCAA Tournament on Thursday.
The Tar Heels broke the game open early and led 53-25 at the half.
Olivier-Maxence Prosper had 16 and Daryl Morsell had 11 to lead Marquette.Brady Manek had 28 points and 11 rebounds to lead Carolina.
The Golden Eagles haven’t won a NCAA Tournament game since 2013 and finished the season 19-13
