AUBURNDALE, FLA (WSAU) — The UWSP baseball team began their spring trip with a 13-9 win over 11th ranked Wheaton College on Thursday.
Aaron Simmons was 4-5 with a home run. He scored three runs and drove in two. Matt Baumann had three hits and scored three runs and Lucas Luedtke had three RBIs.
Casey Pickering earned the win in relief.
The Pointers, now 3-0, will face Coe College in a doubleheader on Friday (today).
The UWSP softball team begins it’s spring Florida trip in Clermont Florida today.
