MARYVALE, AZ (WSAU) — The Milwaukee Brewers beat the San Diego Padres 6-3 on Sunday afternoon in spring training baseball.
Freddy Peralta pitched 2 2/3 innings of scoreless ball with three Ks. Brent Suter, Brad Boxberger and Hoby Milner all delivered scoreless innings as well.
Keston Hiura, Mike Brosseau and Jace Peterson hit home runs. Hiura had two hits and three RBIs. Christian Yelich had two hits and scored a run.
The Brewers also announced that Luis Urias would miss a couple of weeks after straining his left quad while running the bases in Saturday’s game.
Milwaukee will face San Francisco in a night game tonight.
