MADISON, Wi (WSAU) — The trial for the 55-year-old man accused of killing a University of Wisconsin – Madison student in 2008 is set for early next year.
David Kahl is charged with first-degree intentional homicide in connection to the death of Marshfield native Brittany Zimmerman at her Madison apartment back on April 2nd, 2008. Jury selection will start January 17th, 2023.
If convicted, the charge carries with it a mandatory life sentence.
