
BOSTON, MASS (WSAU) — The field is set for the NCAA men’s hockey Frozen Four and it’s dominated by Midwestern teams.
Minnesota, Michigan, Minnesota State-Mankato and Denver all earned spots with victories over the weekend.
Mankato edged Notre Dame 1-0, Denver topped Minnesota-Duluth 2-1, Minnesota shut out Western Michigan 3-0 and Michigan knocked off Quinnipiac 7-4.
The semi-finals will be played Thursday April 7th with Michigan facing Denver and Minnesota taking on Minnesota State-Mankato. The Championship game is April 9th.
All games will be played at Boston Garden.
