RIB MOUNTAIN, WI (WSAU) — It should come as no surprise.
With Wednesday’s wintery mess of precipitation predicted to hit Central Wisconsin, Granite Peak Ski Resort has announced they will close for the day.
Rain and freezing rain are expected throughout the day and into the evening, but what comes next could be beneficial for the slopes.
With 2-4” of snow expected Wednesday night into Thursday, officials say they do plan on opening and running a normal weekday schedule.
The region is under a Winter Weather Advisory beginning this evening.
