PHILADELPHIA, PA (WSAU) — The Milwaukee Bucks battled back from a double-digit deficit in the 4th quarter and then used some late defense to beat the Philadelphia 76ers 118-116 on Tuesday night.
Giannis blocked Joel Embiid’s attempt at the basket to tie the game with less than 2 seconds remaining. Embiid had rebounded a missed three from James Harden.
The Bucks Big Three were tough on this night led by Giannis with 40 points, 14 rebounds, six assists and three blocks. Khris Middleton had 22 points, nine rebounds and seven assists. Jrue Holiday finished with 18 points, 10 assists and eight rebounds.
Brook Lopez added 17 points and Grayson Allen had 10 off the bench.
The Bucks move a game ahead of Philly in the Eastern Conference standings and now own the tiebreaker over the 76ers as well.
Milwaukee is 47-28 and will play at Brooklyn on Thursday.
