STEVENS POINT, WI (WSAU-WAOW) – The Easter Egg Scavenger Hunt in a Stevens Point park kicks off Friday.
Last year, the hunt was held at Iverson Park in Stevens Point. It’s the same concept this year, but at a different location in the city.
There will be seven eggs scattered around one of the city’s parks, each egg having a clue that will take you to the next egg.
There will also be three bonus questions.
“This is a good time of the year to get off the couch. Get outside, do something. And this is fun for the kids, it’s fun for adults, too,” Mayor Mike Wiza told WAOW-TV. “You’ll get to explore the park and maybe learn something new about your community that you haven’t seen before.”
The first clue will be released on the Stevens Point City Website, and the Stevens Point Parks, Recreation, and Forestry Department’s Facebook page at 2pm on Friday. The hunt ends on April 17th.
