MILWAUKEE, Wi (WSAU) — On the second night of a back-to-back entering the final week of the regular season, the Milwaukee Bucks sat all five of their starters and got blown out by the LA Clippers 153-119 Friday night at Fiserv Forum.
One night after beating Brooklyn in overtime, Mike Budenholzer did not suit up Giannis, Khris Middleton, Brook Lopez & Jrue Holiday. Plus, Grayson Allen and Wesley Matthews dressed but did not play in the game.
LA had a few of their starters out as well but on this night the Clips reserves were better.
Robert Covington had 43 and Amir Coffey 32 for the Clippers. The Bucks were led by Jordan Nwora with 28 and Bobby Portis with 25. Jevon Carter had 18 with 8 assists.
Milwaukee, now 48-29, will host Dallas in a Sunday afternoon matchup. You can hear the game on FM 93.9 The Game at 11:30 am.
