TOMAHAWK, WI (WSAU) — Officials in Lincoln County are asking the public for information regarding the whereabouts of a man who left for a hunting trip in November and hasn’t been heard from since.
Friends and family say David L Strahota left his Tomahawk home on November 21st, saying he would be hunting “down south for a couple of weeks.”
No more specifics were provided and he did not provide details of who he may be hunting with. His friends and family say it’s not typical for him to be gone for months on end, and they are concerned for his safety because he does have some health conditions.
Details on Strahota’s potential location remain vague as he does not carry a cellphone and did not leave for the trip in his vehicle. A search of his home has not turned up any potential clues either.
No further information has been provided. Anyone who may be able to fill in the blanks is asked to call the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office.
