TOWN OF SARATOGA, WI (WSAU) — A woman has died after she was rescued from a house fire in the Town of Saratoga this morning.
Officials received the call at about 10 AM. Seven agencies were called to the scene including fire departments from Nekoosa, Saratoga, Grand Rapids, and Wisconsin Rapids. The Wood County Sheriffs’ office and Nekoosa Police Department also responded.
Crews pulled the woman from the home as they were attempting to control the fire. She was taken to Aspirus Riverview hospital, where she later died.
No further information is being released at this time.
