MERRILL, WI (WSAU) — The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help to solve two incidents from last week.
Officers were called to a construction site in the Town of Bradley Tuesday morning for a report that some lumber, screws, and bolts had been stolen. Workers suspect the items were taken from the job site between the hours of 6 PM Monday and 7:45 AM Tuesday.
The amount or value of the stolen items was not disclosed.
Sheriff’s officials also found 23 tires dumped on county land on Horseshoe Lake Drive in the Town of Birch. It’s unclear when the tires were left there.
Anyone with information regarding either incident is asked to contact the Sheriff’s office or upload an anonymous tip using the P3 app for smartphones and tablets.
