BALTIMORE, Md (WSAU) — Andrew McCutchen drove in three runs as the Milwaukee Brewers topped the Baltimore Orioles 5-4 Tuesday night at Camden Yards.
McCutchen gave the Brewers the early lead with a two run double in the first inning. He also drove in the eventual game winner with a two out base hit in the 7th.
Baltimore had taken a 4-2 lead on a Cedric Mullins grand slam off Eric Lauer in the 2nd inning but the Brewers quickly tied it with two runs in the 3rd. Hunter Renfroe had an RBI.
The Brewers bullpen pitched 4 1/3 scoreless innings. Jake Cousins, Hoby Milner, Brad Boxberger, Devin Williams and Josh Hader shut down the O’s. Milner picked up the win and Hader got his second save.
The two teams play again tonight…pre game show at 5:30 on WSAU.
