WAUSAU, WI (WSAU) — A recount of the ballots in the District 11 Supervisor race in Marathon County has produced no change.
Marathon County Clerk Kim Trueblood says the recount shows Alyson Leahey with a three-vote win over challenger Randy DeBroux 331-328.
DeBroux had requested the recount last week after the original totals were canvassed.
Trueblood says the recount was conducted by the board of canvassers, the board of canvass secretary, and two other tabulators. The recount began at 11 AM, and a statement with the results was released by 2:30 PM. There were no irregularities found with any of the ballots.
It was the second recount in Wausau conducted as part of the April 5th elections. The other involved a City Council race, which was completed on Thursday and saw Carol Lukens defeat John Kroll by two votes.
