WAUSAU, WI (WSAU-WAOW) — Wausau police reported that shots were fired at a home on Wednesday night.
Six Wausau PD squad cars responded around 9 PM at a home on the 1000 block of Stark Street on the city’s east side.
No one inside the home was hurt. Police say several shell casings were found in the area. It’s unclear how many shots were fired.
A neighbor told WAOW-TV that a car quickly sped away after the shots were heard. He also says two people were detained by police.
The incident is still under investigation. More information is expected on Thursday.
