Wisconsin Badgers
MADISON, Wi (MetroSource-WSAU) — A Wisconsin Badger athlete is dead. Yesterday the family of track and field athlete Sarah Shulze confirmed she took her own life on Wednesday, April 13th.
The UW-Madison junior and Oak Park, California native was Academic All-Big Ten in cross country and in track during her time as a Badger.
A memorial service for Shulze is scheduled for this Sunday afternoon from 5:00-p.m. to 8:00-p.m. on campus at Memorial Union followed by a second service to be held for her in May in California. More information is available on the website created by her family at SarahShulze-dot-Com.
