PARK FALLS, WI (WSAU) — Police in Park Falls are asking residents to ignore a text message scam that’s circulating in the community.
Some residents have reported receiving a text message saying the police are looking for an armed suspect. Some of these messages have included a picture or description of the person.
Officers say the message is fake and anyone who receives it should simply delete it and not reply.
