PLOVER, WI (WSAU-WAOW) – McCain Foods in Plover broke ground on $169 million project that will add a product line.
The company is adding a production line to make cheese snacks. Products will include breaded cheese nuggets, battered mozzarella cheese sticks, and breaded Wisconsin cheese curds. sold under the Anchor, Brew City, and Golden Crisp brands.
The company says it will add 110 jobs.
McCain Foods is already a leading supplier of frozen potato, appetizers and snack food products across the country. They employ 1,400 people at facilities in Appleton, Plover, and Rice Lake.
