GREEN BAY, Wi (WSAU) — Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers was at mini-camp in Green Bay on Tuesday.
Rodgers spent the session working with a number of rookie receivers including Christian Watson, Romeo Dpubs and Tyler Davis.
Allen Lazard isn’t in camp yet as he hasn’t signed his second-round tender with the team.
Rodgers said that training camp will be enough time to develop chemistry with the new guys as the Packers will enter the season without veterans like Davante Adams and Marquis Valdes-Scantling.
Rodgers, who sat out all of last off-season’s workouts, is in a much better place with the organization now after signing a contract extension. He said he plans to end his career as a Packer but when that will be is unknown. He said “playing is easy”. It’s the mental grind that gets tougher.
