RHINELANDER, WI (WSAU) — An Oneida County judge ruled there’s enough evidence against an 18-year-old man accused of making threats against two schools for the case to proceed to trial.
Adam Bauman was in court on Friday, where Judge Michael Bloom bound him over for arraignment on July 11th.
Investigators say Bauman posted a picture of himself with an assault rifle, along with a message saying he needed to find a former employee of the Lakeland Union school. There were also messages from Bauman asking about the former principal names from two schools within the Lakeland Union School District.
Bauman was also expelled from school for walking down the hallways and making gun-like gestures in the classrooms.
Bauman is being held on a $50,000 cash bond. Conditions of his bond include no guns and no contact with any school district employees in Oneida County.
