MILWAUKEE, WI (WSAU) — Home runs from Andrew McCutchen and Mike Brosseau helped the Milwaukee Brewers to a 5-4 win over Toronto Saturday.
Luis Urias went 2-3 on the day, the only Brewer with multiple hits. Willy Adames went 1-4 with a walk, an RBI, and two runs scored.
McCutchen’s tater was good for two runs and was also his only base hit of the day.
Corbin Burns navigated 7.2 innings and allowed five hits and three earned runs. Devin Williams finished of the 8th for his 18th hold of the season, then Josh Hader gave up a rare 9th inning run but managed to shut down the 9th and record his 22nd save of the season.
Matt Chapman led the Toronto offense with three hits.
The same two teams will close out their series this afternoon with coverage beginning at 12:35 on WSAU.
