GREEN BAY, WI (WSAU) — The Green Bay Packers will hold their first practice of training camp this morning and a number of players will be out with injuries.
There are two different lists to deal with. The PUP (physically unable to perform) and the NFI (non-football injury). The NFL will not allow teams to place a player on the regular season PUP list unless they begin training camp on the list as well.
Players can be activated from either list at anytime in camp. If any player begins the regular season on either list, he would miss at least the first four games of the season.
PUP List:
David Bakhtiari, Mason Crosby, Kylin Hill, Dean Lowry, Elgton Jenkins, Christian Watson, Robert Tonyan, Randy Ramsey, Patrick Taylor, Dillon Stoner.
NFI List
Sammy Watkins, Caliph Brice, Rasheed Walker Caleb Jones
Open Packer practices this week are today, Thursday and Saturday at 10:30 AM.
