BOSTON, MA (WSAU) — Rowdy Tellez recorded 3 hits and four other position players added a pair as the Brewers defeated the Red Sox 9-4 on Saturday at Fenway.
Tellez’s stat line included two singles, a double, one RBI, and one run scored. He also walked once in the game. Omar Narvaez, Hunter Renfroe, and Tyrone Taylor each homered in the win.
Willy Adames was the only starter to not record a hit in the game.
Eric Lauer picked up the win on the mound. He tossed five innings and allowed just one run on four hits. Five relievers then teamed up to close out the game despite a three-run seventh for the Sox.
The same two teams will close out their three-game interleague set today. Pregame coverage begins at 12:00 PM on WSAU.
